Sudan Site Management: Site assessment factsheet - January 2025

The Clusterʼs site assessment tool identifies population demographics, multi-sectoral gaps, and needs at the site level to inform planning and response. In January 2025, assessments were conducted in 37 sites across 2 states, including River Nile and Red Sea. The goal is to scale up these assessments to more IDP hosting locations, subject to access and resource capacities. According to IOM DTM Mobility Update (January 2025), there are 11.6 million internally displaced persons in Sudan, with more than 44% living in camps, collective centres, reception centres, and informal settlements.
