In June 2023, 22,197 individuals representing 7,658 households (HHs) were recorded in seven reception centres in Borno state, with women and children accounting for 89% of the total. Consistent with previous reports, the displaced population in reception centre has been decreased by 6% compared with last month. Total 1,195 HHs departure to the camp shelter (85%) and host community (15%).
In the seven reception centres across Bama, Dikwa, Gwoza, Monguno, and Ngala LGAs, 1,172 HHs (3,176 individuals) of new arrivals were registered, representing a 9% decrease from the previous month. 5,751 HHs have stayed for over three months against recommended 72 hours for referrals in Pulka (2,700), Ngala (1,682), Monguno (673), Bama (317),
Banki (254) and Dikwa 125 reception centres. There is an immediate need for CCCM, shelter, NFI, WASH, food, protection and health care services across the reception centres.
