IOM, the UN Migration Agency, is pleased to invite you to a panel discussion on participation and women’s empowerment during humanitarian crisis on Wednesday 26 September, 09.30 am – 11.30 am at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.
The panel discussion is organized as part of an advocacy event under IOM’s Women’s Participation Project.
The Women’s Participation Project has been developed and implemented since early 2016 by IOM with technical assistance from Women’s Refugee Commission (WRC) and in coordination with the Global Camp Coordination and Camp Management Cluster. The project was rolled out with the goal of enhancing women’s participation in displacement sites, part of a broader PRM-funded global-level project aimed at reducing GBV risks in camps and camp-like settings.
