The CCCM Cluster invites practitioners to attend the September edition of the Community Coffee and Chat series, hosted by the Community Engagement Forum. This session, titled "Exit This Way: Community Engagement in Site Closure and Transition."
The chat will discuss the vital role of community engagement during the closure and transition of displacement sites, featuring insights from experts across the globe who have worked on displacement responses in diverse regions, including northern Nigeria, Mozambique, and Iraq.
This session will cover key issues such as:
- How to engage communities throughout the site closure process to ensure a smooth and inclusive transition
- The challenges of implementing exit strategies while maintaining community cohesion and safety
- Best practices for involving displaced populations in decision-making processes during site closures

Richard will introduce Mozambique’s innovative ABC approach to site exit: Adjusting Approaches, Building Bridges, and Creating Cohesive Communities. - Kate Holland

About the Community Engagement Forum
The Community Engagement Forum is an online, interagency community of practice for CCCM and other humanitarian practitioners committed to fostering the engagement of communities affected by displacement.
