CAMP MANAGEMENT STANDARDS IN PRACTICE
Following the development, consultation and verification process carried out for the Minimum Standards in Camp Management over the last 3 years, this session will help participants not familiar with the document learn how to operationalize it in a different context and provide breakout sessions on specific actions to included it on other settings such as transit centers and out of camp operations.
By the end of this session, participants will have:
- Heard about the field consultations, online surveys conducted by PHAP and 3-year WG revision process and feel assured minimum Standards are operationally sound and built upon best practice
- Watch videos from HSP leaders, PHAP, and editor illustrating why the Minimum Standards in Camp Management are useful
- Reflect on different operational aspects where these standards are already in use (Iraq, Gaziantep, Bangladesh)
- Provided the strategic direction for the WG’s next tasks
