Following several enquiries received over the past few days regarding the outbreak of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) by the World Health Organization (WHO) on 30 January 2020, we would like to stress that the development of contingency plans is and remains under the lead of governments, supported by WHO and other health partners with the relevant technical expertise.
The results of the online survey and request for comments related to the CM Standards have just been released in a final report by the International Association of Professionals in Humanitarian Assistance and Protection (PHAP).
